Liking somebody means that u r suddenly transformed into the stupidest being in the whole wide world.

U want to talk, but instead u sit with your old friends whom u c everyday n pretend that u r really engrossed in the conversation.

U hesitate about whether to start a conversation, though normally u wouldn’t even think twice about speaking to ur friends.

N when u finally talk, u look away as if u r distracted. N displayed passiveness n disinterest when u r suppose to just chit chat like friends will normally do.

U take forever to decide tt sending a message isn’t going to give u away. nah he cant possibly know that I like him.

U keep all the messages u receive, whether they r simply about mundane stuff or not.

U pretend not to notice him, when u r actually watching him secretly.

U really really will like to ask him how he has been, what has he been doing, but yet u cannot put ur words into action. So u just sit there like a dummy. Debating to urself. N so nothing gets done. U become about as interesting as the wall.

U pretend the tv is oh-so-exciting, when actually that isn’t what u really want to be doing.

And then u cant even bring urself to say a proper goodbye. U look at the floor. The shoes. Ur friends. until he’s gone. Then u start feeling sad. As if a goodbye is going to kill you.

And then u regret it. U wonder why u couldn’t have been the normal u. happy chatting with friends, joking, laughing, crapping.

N look. Now u aren’t going to see him again for a long long time.
